Keep Calm and Cook Dinner
Posted on February 24, 2013
Life for me can be extremely hectic. I’m constantly pulled in 1,000,000 different directions and I always have a lot on my mind. Juggling businesses, family life, and making time for myself can be at times, seemingly impossible. Cooking has always been one of my favorite things to do. When I’m cooking I’m able to create, take risks and invent. I’m relaxed. I’m serene. Cooking for me is therapeutic. I forget about any frustration or any stress I was feeling. Cooking is my nirvana, my serenity. Creating delicious and aesthetically pleasing meals puts a smile on my face and warms my heart. And of course hearing “Those Parmesan Crusted Chicken Tenders were Amazing” or “Those are The Best Damn Sliders” is wonderful added bonus! I’d like to ask: What do you do to keep calm? Is cooking for you a chore or do you truly enjoy it? I’m very interested in reading your responses! And also I’m excited to resume sharing recipes with you all!
