You’re going to love these tacos! Crock Pot cooking is one of the simplest methods, just add ingredients and forget about it! Well for the next 9 hours!

You can use chicken breast as a substitute in this recipe, just simmer your chicken breast for 4 hours instead of 9.

Here’s what you’ll need:

•1 lb Pork Tenderloin
•1 Red Onion, sliced
•1 cup BBQ Sauce (I used Apple Whiskey by Open Pit)
•1 cup Water
•Salt and Pepper

Apple Cabbage Slaw-

•1 cup Red Cabbage, shredded
•1 cup Cilantro, chopped
•1 Granny Smith Apple, julienned
•1 tablespoon Cracked Black Pepper
•2 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
•2 teaspoon Wasabi Sauce (I used Kikkoman’s)

In medium saucepan, sear pork tenderloin with olive oil for 3 minutes on each side. Add onions and BBQ sauce to crock pot followed by the pork tenderloin. Cover with water and let simmer.


Toss all ingredients together until cabbage is evenly coated on wasabi vinegar.

Once pork is fork tender, pull apart, and build tacos! Garnish with lime and enjoy!
