I am constantly asked what I use in Chandler’s hair. Up until about a month ago, I only used coconut oil to keep his hair from drying out. I noticed however his curl pattern in the front and middle of his head was completely different from the back.
I spotted Shea Moisture Kids Curling Butter at Target and hesitantly gave it a try!

My first time using it I applied it directly on to his dry hair and formed little ringlets. His hair looked great for about 2 hrs then it began looking stiff and gunky (I’m sure that’s not a real word). I washed his hair and decided to give him a two strand twist out while his hair was wet, gently applying the Shea moisture on each twist.
It turned out beautifully! I was so impressed! His hair was soft and his curls were defined.

How long did u leave the twist in his hair before u for your results? And did u comb his hair or anything or just took the twist out and left the hair as is?
I left them in overnight, and I gently pulled the curls apart with my fingers 🙂
He’s so cute!
