To me, one of the best parts of summer is visiting carnivals! I typically only go for the elephant ears. Earlier in my pregnacy I craved them late one night. So I decided to get up head to the grocery store and make them! They are surprisingly easy to make and your family and tummy will thank you! Here’s what you’ll need: 4 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 tablespoons sugar 1 cup milk 2 eggs 1/3 cup butter, melted vegetable oil, for frying sugar mixture (1/2 cup sugar and 2 teaspoon cinnamon), for topping melted butter, for topping extra flour, for cutting board and rolling pin Add all dry ingredients together. One the most exciting moments, so far, in my pregnancy was feeling my son kick for the first time. Every worry, problem, and fear suddenly melted away. It was just him and I. An immediate bond had been formed. I remember thinking, “I’m doing this, I’m going to be someones mom”! Not only am I going to be someones mom, I’m going to be the best mom on the planet!
